Acer Aspire 8942G, Super Laptop with DX11

Acer Aspire 8942G will coming before the end of the year, it will be based on Core i7 720QM processor running at 1.6GHz… I know this processor has low “1.6 GHz” but since it’s Intel i7, I believe it has big power inside..

Aspire 8942G packs 8GB of DDR3, two 640GB hard drives and Blu-ray to boot. It features an 18.4-inch LED display in 1980×1080, AMD’s Mobile Radeon HD5850 with 1GB of GDDR5. Basically, this is the first notebook with DirectX 11 graphics, and this is amazing…

In terms of connectivity, Aspire 8942G has four USB 2.0 slots, ExpressCard, Wireless 802.11 abgn, Bluetooth, HDMI, 5-in-1 card reader and a host of other goodies. With an 8-cell battery, the DX11 Aspire weighs 4.6kg, almost as much as two Acer 15-inchers laptops.
